$400 DIY Guest Bathroom Makeover

I’ve been living with an ugly guest bathroom for over 10 years now. Because it’s not my main bathroom, I kinda just let it live in it’s ugly green glory, but now that my upstairs is my home gym in addition to my guest room and I’m up there several days a week, I finally decided to give it a well deserved bathroom makeover. I updated almost everything, the only things I didn’t change are the layout, the shower tile and the countertops.

I actually filmed this makeover (and it was NOT easy), so go check me out in action on YouTube here or below. If you’re not into that, before and after pictures and the list of products used will be listed after the video.

But seriously, go watch the video… it’s not perfect, but I worked really hard on it. My eyes actually might be bleeding from all the editing.

Total cost for this project ended up around $430, with everything purchased from Amazon. If we weren’t in a pandemic, I could’ve gotten at least some of the decor for cheaper by visiting thrift and dollar stores, but to keep myself safe I opted to do all my purchases online.
